Logicbroker Inc. Announces New Board Members
Company expands the number of board members from three to five
SHELTON, Conn.—September 18, 2013—Logicbroker Inc., the provider of the cloud-based integration hub, logicbroker®, is pleased to announce the most recent additions to its board of directors: Frank Brochin and Donny Askin. Brochin is currently the chief investment officer at StoneWater Capital, a New York-based asset management firm focused on emerging markets (Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe). He has served on the boards of directors of several private companies in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East between 1995 and 2013. Askin is currently the senior vice-president and general manager for Yunique Solutions at Gerber Technology, the industry leader in the CAD, PDM and PLM space, servicing many of the globe’s leading retailers, brand owners, and designers. He has also served as CEO and served on the boards of Arigo and Ordermotion. Askin has grown SaaS, direct-to-consumer and supply chain technology solution companies.

Brochin, of Rye, New York, was previously a partner at Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm, where he was responsible for investments in the enterprise software, information technology and communications sectors. Prior to Warburg Pincus, Brochin was a research engineer with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone in Tokyo, and a manager of the Advanced Technology Group in Nortel Networks’ R&D center in Japan. He holds a B.S. from the ENST Paris, France, a Ph.D. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Askin, of Boston, Massachusetts, was previously CEO and chairman at Arigo, CEO at OrderMotion Inc., and CEO and founder at CommercialWare Inc. Askin has driven company growth as well as turnarounds while providing liquidity to shareholders. He is experienced in all facets of business, from raising capital and M&A to marketing, sales, business development, professional services, software engineering, and finance. Askin holds a B.A. in philosophy and computer science from Clark University.
