Shipwire, a CEVA Logistics Company, partners with Logicbroker to enable clients to integrate with new sales channels quickly, efficiently, and at a low cost.

Shipwire, a full-service third-party logistics provider (3PL), needed a way to help their clients comply with retailers’ required EDI and drop ship specifications. They partnered with Logicbroker to empower their clients to sell more products, reach more customers, minimize documentation errors, and maximize efficiency.

The Challenge

Shipwire fulfills eCommerce orders for direct-to-consumer, retail, and drop shipping channels by leveraging their API and a network of global warehouses. As Shipwire began exploring the difference between building this EDI connection for themselves or partnering with an existing company, they found several solutions that would allow them to expand their service offerings and give their clients full-service eCommerce enablement.

While exploring various options and evaluating providers, Shipwire and Logicbroker opened a conversation on how a partnership between the two companies would work. After meeting with the Logicbroker team, Shipwire felt comfortable that they found the most convenient way to get their clients connected to retail and marketplace channels as quickly as possible without sacrificing their experience and maintaining Shipwire’s dedication to offering their clients the best possible service. Logicbroker also has the most integration options, and offers platform users flexible communication including API, EDI, XML, CSV, and more.

“We chose Logicbroker due to its speed to market and our shared values. We are both customer-centric companies who only want our customers to use the best solutions to help them grow their businesses. Logicbroker shares these values, and we trust them to enable our customers and ensure the best possible customer experience.”

Adopting a Solution

To enhance their client’s experience, Shipwire was looking to adopt flexible communication protocols to ensure their clients could comply with retail channel mandates and maximize efficiency. With help from the teams at Logicbroker, Shipwire’s customers—who were primarily using EDI to integrate with Shipwire’s system—can connect quickly to limitless channels without the hassle of IT department involvement or written code by leveraging Logicbroker’s API-first platform. Shipwire’s customers can rely on their partnership with Logicbroker to maintain a stable and secure connection to receive and fulfill orders from numerous retail channels in one environment.

Shipwire’s passion for delivering excellent customer service is bolstered by Logicbroker’s knowledgebase and API interface. Vendors no longer have to search internal and external documents to find out how to navigate retailer requirements but instead can visit Logicbroker’s dedicated knowledgebase and Learning Management System to find all the documentation they need for a safe and reliable connection.

Growing Results

After just a few months of the partnership, Shipwire was able to help eCommerce brands expand into new sales channels to reach new target customers and increase profits. Logicbroker and Shipwire have since expanded their partnership beyond technology to business strategy. Together, they’re exploring new opportunities and sharing insights into the evolving eCommerce space, enabling them to evolve their platforms to meet their clients’ changing needs, collaborate on top-tier industry events, and generate insightful materials.

Armed with a full-service, API-first solution powered by Logicbroker, Shipwire can continue to delight their valued clients and attract new users seeking a full-service, end-to-end fulfillment solution. Backed by two powerful platforms, Shipwire’s clients enjoy enhanced communication, efficient management and high-level visibility to the order lifecycle, and better performance with their sales channels.
