Getting Started

HomeDepot.com uses CommerceHub as its EDI provider. To start the EDI integration, you will first need to get in touch with someone at Home Depot, and someone at CommerceHub.

Step 1: Reach out to Home Depot Sales. Let them know you want to begin trading EDI documents with them.

Step 2: Reach out to Logicbroker. Let us know you are looking to leverage our platform to integrate with Home Depot.com. Once setup with us, or if you already are, you will be assigned a representative.

Step 3: Connect with the CommerceHub testing analyst.

Step 4: Introduce your Logicbroker representative to the CommerceHub testing representative.

Exchanging EDI Information

CommerceHub will provide to you an EDI questionnaire. The questionnaire will ask questions pertaining to communication methods, and EDI identifiers.

EDI Identifiers

Logicbroker will assign you an EDI Qualifier and Identifier:

  • Example Qualifier: ZZ
  • Example Identifier: LB123456

Communication Method

Logicbroker supports the following communication methods with CommerceHub

  • SFTP
  • AS2
  • VAN (Value Added Network)*

*SFTP and AS2 are the preferred communication methods

Logicbroker will set you up in both a staging (stageportal.logicbroker.com) and production environment (portal.logicbroker.com). Logicbroker will then work with the assigned test analyst to exchange connection information and test in both environments to ensure the connection is working properly.
