Position – Senior .Net Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer at Logicbroker, you’ll contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native Intelligent Order Network, designing and building reliable, scalable services that enable seamless order and inventory data flow between retailers, brands, and marketplaces. You’ll work across microservices, APIs, data transformation pipelines, and event-driven systems while collaborating closely with Product and SRE teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement RESTful and event-driven APIs for retailer, marketplace, and brand integrations.
- Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices to support core order workflows.
- Translate complex business requirements into reliable software solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and SRE teams to deliver features from design to deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern engineering practices.
- Participate in technical design and architecture reviews.
- Improve service performance, reliability, and operational visibility.
- Help standardize logging, metrics, and tracing across services.
- Contribute to sprint planning, story estimation, and team retrospectives.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Mentor and support junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
- Collaborate with SREs to ensure applications meet reliability and performance targets.
- Write and maintain internal technical documentation and service guides.
- Help evaluate new tools and technologies to strengthen our engineering stack.
Essential Skills, Experience & Education
- 5–8+ years of experience building backend systems in a production environment.
- Proficiency in modern backend languages like C#, Java, Go, or Python.
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design.
- Experience working with message queues or streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong grasp of testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control (Git), and branching strategies.
- Understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS).
- Ability to debug, profile, and optimize backend services for performance.
- Track record of delivering features in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage ambiguity.
- Bonus: Familiarity with EDI, commerce platforms, or partner integrations.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in designing clean, maintainable code, embracing best practices like SOLID principles and microservices architecture
- Experience with EDI, Dropshipping and Marketplace technologies like Amazon, TikTok, or Walmart
- An understanding of JS frameworks such as Node.JS and React
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Azure Functions or AWS Lambdas
- Familiarity with the MACH alliance
