Made In Builds a Scalable, Connected Dropship Operation with Logicbroker

By Jager Robinson | July 9, 2025

Executive Summary

With a strong foundation in direct-to-consumer sales through Shopify, Made In was poised for rapid growth. But as national retail partnerships expanded and dropship fulfillment grew more complex, manual operations began to slow the business down. By partnering with Logicbroker, Made In built a fully connected dropship program that integrates seamlessly with their existing tech stack, supports fast partner onboarding, and helps their small team save valuable time. The result is a streamlined infrastructure that’s built for scale.

Powering Scalable Dropshipping: How Made In Streamlined Growth with Logicbroker

Made In has quickly become a favorite among professional chefs and home cooks, offering high-performance cookware and kitchen tools that blend modern design with culinary heritage. With most of their business running direct-to-consumer through Shopify, or fulfilling directly to their retailer partners’ stores, Made In has built a strong foundation.

As their wholesale brick & mortar and dropship programs expanded, they needed a more connected and scalable way to manage fulfillment across digital and physical partners.

“We weren’t deep into [the dropshipping EDI] space before Logicbroker,” said Kris Levine, Director of Technology at Made In. “But once we started onboarding dropship partners and standing up an in-store retail program, it became clear we needed a more robust system to handle the volume.”

A Dropship Program Ready to Scale

Initially managing just one retail partner through another platform, Made In quickly outgrew manual processes. Fulfillment expectations were increasing, order volumes were growing, and there was no room for error or delay.

“Trying to process the volume of orders we were looking at would have been impossible to do manually,” Levine explained. “With Logicbroker, it was quick and easy to set up. The platform allowed us to scale without adding operational complexity. Plus, it connected nicely with our existing fulfillment technology stack.”

Their entire online dropship program now flows through Logicbroker, which provides greater visibility, faster onboarding, and a more seamless experience for retail partners.

Native Shopify Integration that Just Works

Shopify powers more than 80% of Made In’s business. That made Logicbroker’s native integration a critical deciding factor.

“Seventy-five to eighty percent of our business runs through Shopify,” Levine said. “Knowing we could bolt Logicbroker into Shopify for all intents and purposes was a really big draw for us. All we need to do is get orders into the platform, and Logicbroker does the rest.”

By connecting systems without disrupting the core tech stack, Logicbroker enables a streamlined, end-to-end process that simplifies retail fulfillment across channels.

Faster Partner Onboarding and Real Operational Gains

Since implementation, Made In has significantly accelerated their partner onboarding process. Some vendors have gone live in as little as two weeks.

“We’ve been able to onboard vendors quickly, depending on how responsive they are,” Levine said. “We’re totally comfortable with the system, and our partners are too.”

That efficiency has freed up time and reduced manual workloads, to the account of saving 6-8 hours of manual order entry and follow-up each week.

“We had a partner that was super manual and tough to handle. We asked them to switch to an EDI connection, and the Logicbroker team knocked it out,” Levine added. “That’s given us back hours and hours and hours each week.”

Built for What’s Next

Looking to the future, the team at Made In sees Logicbroker as both a valuable platform and a long-term strategic partner.

“Our partnership with Logicbroker has been great,” Levine said. “I’m excited to see what else the platform has in store, especially with new AI implementations.”

Stable, intuitive, and efficient, Logicbroker has become the backbone of Made In’s dropship operations, opening the door to new partners, channels, and opportunities.

“Logicbroker is very good at what it does,” Levine said. “We’re excited to keep pushing the limits of what we can do together.”
