It’s no secret eCommerce sales continue to skyrocket each year. U.S. online retail sales will exceed $506 billion this year and by 2022, will surpass $712 billion, according to Forrester Research. With the conclusion of Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2018, Logicbroker wanted to share some interesting findings we saw during this peak shopping time.

From Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, we saw an average increase of 259.10% YOY for orders processed. Post-Cyber Monday sales have continued to be strong as well, with significant order volume continuing to flow in.

With more shopping time due to an earlier Thanksgiving, customers are certainly not procrastinating when it comes to holiday shopping. If we take a moment to look at November eCommerce sales processed through Logicbroker as a whole, our top 10 customers had a YOY growth of 115%. Our top 50 customers had YOY growth of 144% compared to November of 2017. This speaks to the fact that more and more consumers are completing purchases online. As order volume begins to settle over the next few weeks, this is a wonderful time to analyze your data from Black Friday Weekend, reflect on success, and discuss areas for improvement for 2019.
