As a Planning Strategist, Amber Roberts does more than spot trends. With 14 years of experience directing initiatives in the nonprofit and retail sectors, she's obsessed with creating unique sources of value that can keep the strategy ahead of external competitors.

Amber has built an unconventional background on her road to digital strategy: With a B.S. in Merchandising and Design from Ball State University, she grew her career in various buying and category management roles. She found a unique way to combine her love of service, trend forecasting, and design by simultaneously developing designer eyewear for Fashion Week and consulting for sustainable eyecare initiatives in African clinics. She transitioned her development and consulting skills to Kroger where she now focuses on the implementation of external fulfillment modalities for the digital team. In two years, she’s launched and enabled two new programs driving online revenue and is getting ready to launch her third. Earlier this year, Amber was recognized in partnership with the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce as a diverse, high achieving woman leader.

When she isn’t glued to a computer screen, Amber loves traveling with her husband, pretending that she can speak Italian, and trying very hard to keep her houseplants alive. She has been fortunate to call Indianapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, and now Cincinnati home.
