Wayfair prides themselves on offering “a zillion things home, 26 million satisfied customers and counting.” As a result, brands and suppliers are flocking to the platform to sell their goods, connect with new customers and capture more sales. With the combined solution of ShipStation and Logicbroker, suppliers can connect to Wayfair via API to achieve compliance and efficiently manage and fulfill orders.
Implementing solutions to manage and ship Wayfair orders while minimizing manual touches is mission-critical as companies scale their eCommerce operations. Choosing to implement an API integration automates the exchange of procurement documents and expedites the fulfillment process.

Why Automate?

Logicbroker’s Wayfair API connection enables suppliers and brands to connect and communicate information for order management, inventory, and shipping. It’s a quick and easy way to manage orders in real-time: all orders are sent by Wayfair to you, the supplier. You acknowledge the order and allocate the inventory through Logicbroker or reject the order in the Wayfair Partner Portal.

If you have a ShipStation integration, Wayfair API connection orders are pulled into Logicbroker and translated into ShipStation’s preferred API format. Once the order is received in the ShipStation Portal, users can ship items through the ShipStation platform. This automation reduces the time your team would spend manually processing orders and frees up their time to focus on other business-critical tasks.

The Wayfair API connection enables you to seamlessly receive orders and send acknowledgments, shipments, returns, invoices, and inventory updates. Pairing this with a ShipStation integration, your fulfillment cycle is completely automated through one Logicbroker integration. With end-to-end API connectivity, you can be up and running quickly to streamline your business and efficiently scale. You’ll be able to handle increases in order volume without needing to increase headcount.

Additionally, within the Logicbroker portal, you have visibility into all orders and activities, allowing you to improve response time and ensure SLAs are met with Wayfair to foster a positive business relationship.

Getting Started with the Wayfair API

*Note – the following connection steps require a Wayfair account. If you do not already have an account, click here to be redirected to their registration page.

With a Wayfair account, you can move forward with processing an application for sandbox and production accounts. Upon a successful submission, Wayfair will generate a popup window providing a Client ID and secret, which can then be input into the Connections field in Logicbroker’s portal. With just a few simple steps, you can set up a connection and contact Wayfair Support to go live.

To set up inventory, you must first have all warehouses and corresponding codes configured with Logicbroker. You can then upload your full product catalog, and Wayfair will only upload the inventory that matches. The full steps can be found in Learn Logicbroker’s Wayfair API module.
